Teams consist of roughly 4-5 people, filling the following roles:

Designer

• Designs the look and feel of the website
• Creates logos and other graphics for the website and marketing

Frontend developer

• Creates website in HTML/CSS

Backend developers

• Creates the behind-the-scenes programming of the website
• Needs to know PHP / MySQL or another web programming language mutually agreed by all team members *

Business

• Creates the business plan
• Delivers pitch to investors

It may be difficult to use your own web hosting due to restrictions on outgoing FTP connections from the Startup Camp venue (University of Melbourne), so please check in advance that the web hosting provided by Startup Camp will be suitable for your needs.
